September 13th - Freebies/Companies to write to!

Hola people!

Short post today - not a whole heck of a lot going on in the world of freebies, but there are some!

So...companies to write too - I've received some great baby items and coupons in the mail this week!

1.  Mustela - This is a GREAT company.  A little about them from their site: Mustela® prides itself as being the skincare expert for babies and mothers-to-be. For this reason, Mustela® offers effective, easy-to-use products of the highest quality, designed to meet the specific needs of newborns, babies, children and expectant and new mothers. Mustela® has a simple and effective answer to each condition.

And they will gladly send you a sample (or, in my case FOUR!!) if you kindly request it!  Contact them here!

2.  Lansinoh - One of my top favorites as a mother.  Nursing is hard.  It is the most natural thing that doesn't come naturally, and Lansinoh does their part to help you, as a mom, adjust.  Per your request, they will send samples of nursing pads, milk storage bags, and their lanolin cream (BEST THING EVER).  Contact them here.

They also have a coupon on storage bags rights now, click here.

3. Lastly, Similac.  For formula, they are expensive, but they do offer a similac strong moms program.  There are lots of benefits, but the most useful thus far, I think, are the checks they mail (for so much off formula) and random coupons I've received.  Just yesterday, I got a coupon in the mail for $4 off a SimplySmart bottle.  They are $3.97 individually at Walmart. Thank you Similac.  Check it out - there are also other things you get - shutterfly credit, pregnancy journal, you can ask for the satchel at the hospital.  Sign up here!

Now for a few freebies!!

3 samples of tea - and the best part is that YOU get to choose what you want!

Samples for Airborne Immune Support, Maybelline Fit me Shine Free and Snapple kcups here!

Lastly - at noon PST on 9.16, munchkin is giving away FREE cups. Set your alarm :D
(It has been brought to my attention that the mobile apps do not support this particular function, so to access this link, you will need to be on a pc)

Enjoy!

Happy Frugality to ya!

The blog is coming happily along, and I am scoring more samples and writing more companies!  I didn't find time to post last night - my little had gymnastics, so we spent the evening at gymnastics and hanging out with her bestie.  I did get a laugh, on the drive home, when R* (my little) suggested that I call K's (her best friend) mom, and explain something to her.  You see, my four year old was concerned that K's mama wouldn't know how to get her baby out (we are both due in a few months) and wanted me to call and explain the process to her.

I suppose it's my fault, really. R asked if K knew how brother would arrive, and I told her no. When R asked why, I told her that K's mama didn't tell her yet, and that's a conversation a little lady should have with her mama.  R was concerned that K's mama didn't tell her because K's mama didn't know.  R, by the way, was completely unconcerned that K's mama had obviously already given birth before LOL!

I have a smattering of freebies/samples to post here today - basically, click the link, fill out the form and wait for your sample!

Atkins - free sample with a carb counting book

Want to smell pretty? Try Katy Perry's new frangrance!

Here is one for the man in your life - scalp therapy, made just for him!

Now that you have snagged some freebies, lets try writing a letter to your favorite company.  Pop on over to our 'How to request Samples' page, and read a bit on the best way to do this.  I will put a few of my favorite companies link here in the page, but feel free to contact any company you want.

V-8 Juice

Bar-S

Celestial Seasonings

GlaxoSmithKline

Feel free to contact these companies, or ones of your choosing! I would LOVE to hear how this goes for you, and any feedback you have.
